On 19 June 2024, SLG hosted an insightful LNG Business Breakfast at the Birchwood Conference Centre, bringing together customers and key upstream LNG suppliers. The event highlighted the complexities of LNG procurement and the critical role of an LNG aggregator in managing upstream risks and driving downstream demand.
With over 20 years of experience, SLG is uniquely positioned to lead LNG supply aggregation. In addition to a solid track record, SLG lead the development of the largest CNG facility in South Africa in 2015, became the second importer of natural gas in 2022. SLG now seeks to drive the demand for gas through its newly founded gas to power subsidiary, SL Power.
SLG believes it will take the integrated expertise learnt from all these initiatives and developments to aggregate the critical volumes required for successful LNG market development in South Africa.
Together, with our key partners, we are shaping the future of South Africa’s energy landscape.
