More than 120 companies, trust funds, private individuals and even Comrades Marathon runners, who collectively raised R1 million at this year’s event, gathered at the Community Chest Top Donor Awards 2025 this morning, not because they had to, but because they chose to. Because they believe in impact. Because they care about their communities.
SLG is honoured to be among those recognized, and proud to have been joined by some of our valued stakeholders who were also acknowledged for their contributions. A moving acknowledgement was when a funded organisation, itself a beneficiary of Community Chest, was honoured for choosing to give back through the generosity of its own staff.
A powerful reminder that:
Giving is not about size.
It is about intention.
And the courage to take the first step.
